How do i get to appreciate movies as much as the myself kid did?

When i was a kid i used to absolutely enjoi and be captured by films such as Kung Fu panda 3 and Shrek 2 from dreamworks as far as i remember, but today as a 17 yrs old teenager i couldn't have the same feelings, even tho the films were astronomically good to rewatch.
What can i do to enjoy again movies like i were a 5-8 years old kid?
