Post Body

I know this is very very late, but I saw La-La Land for the first time tonight. I was NOT PREPARED for the ending and how much I would cry. Nothing in the movie's previous 120 minutes or so had made me believe that the ending would pack such an emotional wallop.

But after the ending, I had a few questions.

1) Who do you think David was? He seemed much older than Mia, so I assume he might have been a producer in the business?

2) Do you think Mia is happy with David? It seems like she is, but in her final shot onscreen she looks extremely sad.

3) Do you think Seb kept up with Mia's career from afar?

Beautiful, beautiful movie.

Crying all alone in a movie theater is peak American cinema and I guarantee that Martin scorcese would give you a standing ovation for understanding that
