I've thought of numerous examples in the past but today I'm listening to a podcast about Escape from New York and I always think about some Cleveland related seeing it was mentioned in Escape from L.A.

Obviously a prequel scenario but it would be a younger Plissken locked up in Cleveland and you would see more gun fighting from him as he establishes his legend status. Anyways there would be a scene where he gets the famous torso tattoo based off maybe a chance encounter with a snake or something more mythical after crossing paths with another inmate. Ultimately the scene that popped in my head would be him finally escaping and either a partner in crime or even a damsel who doesn't really knows his name or just simply by 'Plissken' asks him his name or "see ya around Plissken" and he says "Call me Snake" fade to black, roll credits and the legend is born.
