I think it is. I think the action is entertaining, I think the acting is good enough, I think the plot while sure it's simple is still engaging enough that we want to see how it's gonna unfold even if we know the end of the journey already. And most importantly it captured the spirt of the games accurately.
That final race sequence in the woods feels excatly like a race from most wanted or hot pursuit. In the end I know it's not the most amazing movie ever made, but with how shitty most video game movies are I think Need For Speed sits somewhere at the top of quality movies based on video games.
