The Nice Guys is an amazing mystery, buddy-cop, comedy movie. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
It's a shame that this film mainly went unnoticed at the time of its release, because it's damn near perfect. This movie is pure fun, the silliness of the mystery, the chemistry between the leads and the fact that it's an original story and not another remake or sequel make it stand out in our current film climate. Kids in movies can go either way, but I thought the actress who played Ryan Gosling's daughter was hilarious. The movie received positive reviews and I wish it made enough money to warrant a sequel. The end even sets up potential future adventures for the leads.
Anyone else wish we got a sequel?
