I'm too young to have experienced the original Blade Runner in the time it was made in. I watched it after I watched Blade Runner 2049 which is a hot contestant for my personal list of favorites.
I know that at the time it was heavily debated whether or not Deckard is a Replicant. Today I still see some discussion about it with no clear answer. With the new Blade Runner it's proven Deckard has lived for at least 30 years even if he was a replicant. The entire plot of the first movie is based around the Replicant's timespan, with even Rachel who was the most advanced replicant at the time requiring over 100 questions to diagnose having a short lifespan.
Doesn't this prove Deckard was not a replicant?
