Hi everyone!

I’m a 38M married to a 44M. The hubby might be accepting an extraordinary job offer from MTSU soon. Where should we live that would be a 30-min drive or less to MTSU and is “safe enough”. We currently live in Memphis and have for 3 years so I doubt if there’s much that would scare us away.

Our house budget would likely range between $350k-$500k.

It’s too early to know whether I’d keep my current job and do it remotely. Should I have to get a new job, I’d like for my commute to also be 30-min or less to downtown. Does such a place exist?

We’d prefer a single family home but aren’t opposed to a townhouse / condo if that’s all that’s available within our budget for an area.
