Is it just me, or is Bannerlord more complicated than Warband?

So I loved Warband, right? Decided to finally buy Bannerlord after seeing the 1.8 update and was really hyped for it. And I mean, it looks really cool, but I feel like it’s much more complicated and maybe even harder than Warband. Besides that, I feel like it’s missing some sort of a charm that Warband just had. I’m only like 6 hours into the game though so idk, but I’m starting to have second thoughts about buying it. Maybe I’m just too lazy to learn how everything works.
