I just played Perisno and what do you guys think of unique lord-only units? (Household troops)

In Perisno (Warband), most of the lords have their own unique units dedicated for them and are not a part of a faction's unit tree (i.e., Emperor Hakkon II (Faction Leader of the Hakkon Empire has the Imperial Bodyguard unit). It also has Faction Noble troops like in WS and PoP but can only be hired by becoming a lord of that specific faction.
So whaddya guys think? Are you in favor of having specific units catered to a lord?
