I was sending spies one at a time to multiple villages to increase relations with them when I noticed that I was missing one. I could deploy 8 but I could swear I've only sent out 7, I must have lost count somewhere and have actually done 8, or perhaps I sent two to the same place, no big deal.

Twenty, in-game, days later I have as much relation with the villages as the spies can get you up to. So I then proceeded to recall them, one at a time, so I can reassign them to next set. It was here that I noticed something peculiar. The Spy Reports showed that I could deploy 8, that I DID have 8 deployed, but the locations I could review were only 7.

Aha! So I really DID send two to the same place. That was a bit of a waste. Oh well... I'll just retrieve them now and make sure not to make the same mistake next time. The "Cautious Traveler"s started to trickle in in no time... but there were only 7. Uh-oh.

So I tested it just to be sure that this is a bug.

I have 7 spies. I send them all to the same place. I let them sit for a while until the sabotage option is available. I right-click, retrieve Spy, and confirm... only ONE spy DOES come out.

Checking the Spy Reports, it still says that I have my spies deployed, but the location is no longer there. Checking the village, the option to "retrieve spy" is no longer available, only the "send spy" is again.

So, is that it? Are my spies now stuck in purgatory? I really don't mind losing them, they're just 3k stags a piece, replaceable. The deploy slots these "floating" spies are occupying, however, are a bit more valuable. If I can't get them to come out anymore, is there a way to, at least, disband them?
