Can't start new game, help plz

I have VC reforged, just downloaded Floris 2.55 and now have a weird bug - whenever I attempt to start a new game it loads the texts screen "You hear about Calradia..." and I can't click Continue.
I have no savegames to load, VC works fine, it's only on Native.
