Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the game but I've been playing Diplomacy and I've got a few questions about how to progress.

In my playthrough the Nords were getting their asses kicked so I decided to be their saviour and join them.

So far we've retaken Tihr, Wercheg and have gotten most of the Vaegir lands except their capital.

I've got ownership of Wercheg as I single handedly recaptured it from the Vaegir. I'm also married.

However, with the expansion of the Nords, I still only control Wercheg, even though we've got so much of Vaegir land.

How do I progress from here? Getting more land, etc.?

Troops aren't really a problem as I've been pretty good at training them. I have a 90 man army with Huscarls and Rhodok max level crossbowman.

I think I want to help the Swadian claimant but don't really know how the game goes from here. I'm worried that with my help the Nords will just end up steamrolling everyone else and I'll just be a lonely Wercheg controller.
