M&b vanilla, being a good monarch
Post Body

Warband

I’m trying this playthrough of being an actual honorable/good monarch, so I haven’t captured any lords or kings after defeating them. Never raided a village, never accepted rewards etc. and it’s payed off as I hold most of the vaegir lands now and have 12 vassals carefully picked so that none are less than 500 renown and are all at 100 relation. Now, my only problem is that I’m best friends with all the kings! My faction has been at peace for like 2 in game months… so just wondering, does declaring war without provocation negatively affect honor?

Update: I ended up attacking a rhodok lord who I had bad relation with (yk the lords who still get pissy even after you spare them) since I hadn’t noticed in the time I’ve been at peace rhodoks have taken half the map😂 and all the other factions followed my lead with the exception of sarranid who were at war with them a week before I attacked…I figured it was the best way to lose least relation/honor
