So this weekend I got to demo a bike at Killington bike park, it was the 2020, trek slash 9.9 X01 AXS, which is the closest to the slash 8. The main difference that I noticed is the 9.9 is carbon, and the 8 is aluminum. This is my first downhill bike, could someone shed some light on if the 8 will ride as well as the 9.9 did for me?
