I have been prescribed mounjaro through numan. They say the prescription is valid for 12 months, then will need to be renewed.
Assuming I reach my target weight in 12 months, is it likely they will renew me for the purpose of maintenance? I would probably want to taper off, but don't want to be forced off a cliff edge.
If I wanted to change to a new provider for maintenance, are they likely to accept me? Generally providers want to see evidence of obesity before prescribing, which would not be possible in that case.
