Carb placement?

Can I have the carb pipe flipped like this, pointing down toward the rest of the engine? Will that be too restrictive for airflow, or mess with the carb when it’s on an incline? It’s my first build and I’m not totally sure what to do here, trying to get the engine to fit on a mountain bike frame
