So you wanna be an editor of your favorite sled rag?
Post Body

Actually, a few magazines or online outlets possibly or document my own and get paid through sponsors & vendors testing products on event cruises, rides and at events, rally's & races, possibly going international.

What I don't know, if I want to get paid to do this by a magazine, what do I need to know regarding credentials? Certs? Photography? Videography & editing? What are they looking for?

Not to mention the plethora of information revolving around working remotely too get that information to senior editors or an online outlet.

Do I just start calling magazine editors and asking for some time to pick their brains? Do I just go all in with a DSLR, a couple go pros and some hackjob editing and a little blog?

Looking for insight, feel free to crosspost this. I'm seeking information and outlets to pursue this as potentially a remote road job for possibly a decade to support myself.

I'm looking forward to your knowledge.
