Motorcycle Techs and Service Managers of Reddit, how would you like to see someone in another department attempt to become a tech apprentice.
Post Body

Delete if not allowed but I thought it was worth the shot.

I (m22), am currently working at a motorcycle dealership, and am very interested in apprenticing to become a tech as working on bikes and learning about their little quirks is what I enjoy. The techs know this and encourage it by telling me what they're doing and how it's done whenever I'm poking around. I even mentioned my apprenticeship ambitions to one in passing, which led to him lending me a book on suspension tuning (very cool). This all being said, how should I apply to the service manager/the techs about this? How would you like to see it be done?

Thanks in advance eh!!
