50cc scooter lost speed after fixing clutch

So I fixed clutch on moped cause it was trying to activate when stopped, so anyway after I fixed it and put it back in the bike it ran well and no problems, but instead of the bike comfortably getting to 50mph/80kmh it just stays at 70kmh and idk why it’s almost like it is being restricted even when going down steep hills. Any ideas thanks.
