So, a friend of mine rides a KLR 650 that's been raised to accommodate the roads in Alaska's back country. At the end of the summer, she suggested I ride it from Anchorage to Seattle for her, because I'm in the North Slope for a summer job.
The problem? I have an inseam that, generously, is 30". My friend was all over it like "Yeah, I think you could do it. I do." She's same height, etc.
I guess what I'm wondering is--I'll be moving from a Yamaha Maxim to a KLR, which is a huge change in and of itself. But, the height is HUGELY different.
What is the sage advice of Rideit?
