Just recently bought a 99 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. Getting the bike worked on and inspected now. Planning to leave mid September. My trip will be from the tip of the mitt, up to Marquette, down to Denver, through summit county on 70, out to San Francisco, and then through northern California to Oregon where I will spend the winter.

Just looking for advice on route planning, emergency gear to have, places to see, etc. I don’t really have any time restrictions, have a decent amount of money to take my time with. Halp!
