Car engines vs motorcycle engines
Post Body

A question that popped in my mind and that i hope is not in the completely wrong place here. I looked at the Honda Africa Twin with an 1100cc, 75kw/102hp engine. I noticed it is nearly completely identical in power to my car engine (VW/Seat, 1200cc, 77kw/105hp, "1.2 TSI" engine from the last Polo/Ibiza), but the car engine has to have a turbo and a compressor to achieve its 105hp. Why is that? Why not use a motorcycle engine?

The TSI engines are more or less all POS anyway and die quicker than you would expect, a well-maintained motorcycle engine could expect as many miles from what I've heard?
