Gas on electrical wiring?
Post Body

Changed out rectifier and had to splice some wires. Put the gas tank on with a little gas in it to test out my job. Didn't put the hoses fully on because I didn't plan on leaving it like that for more then a couple minutes. (They where on enough to not leak but not wedged all the way on) ended up leaving gas tank on for 2 days (idiot mistake I know) and now I have gas all over the wiring and tubing that go under the tank. I guess when I put my tank down one of the tubes came off because I was dumb and didn't put it on right. Lesson learned. Other then wiping excess gas up and letting it all evaporate is there anything I can do? Should I be worried about the electrical wires? I don't know much about gas but I do know it's corrosive.
