Has anyone tried riding with a duffel bag on their back?
Post Body

I'm looking at buying a duffel bag for airline travel and a couple that I'm considering are the North Face Base Camp and the Patagonia Black Hole. I like how they have backpack straps. Then I wondered if I could maybe use them on my bike. Has anyone ever tried that? I imagine the body position for any sort of race-replica wouldn't work well with such large luggage, but could it work on a more upright bike where the bag might even rest on the pillion seat? I know there is motorcycle specific luggage, but most of the options are way too expensive for how rarely i'd use them.
