So beginning of this year some low life scum stole my bike and when I got it back it was mostly intact, except for them dropping it at low speed multiple times because they are shit riders and took it through the dirt.
Now looking at the damage they've done, they left the immobiliser unplugged but have two ignition wires cut and pulled up to the dash to turn it on.
So I tried doing what they did, leave immobiliser unplugged connect the wires and try start it and it will crank pretty hard but won't attempt to start.
Tried plugging immobiliser in but I've lost the key, probably 100mile away at dads home place in some drawer. I remember trying to start the bike with the key when I got it back and it wouldn't but at the time I didn't realise the immobiliser wasn't plugged in so maybe if I find the key it will start regardless I'm still curious how they did it. Only thing I can think of is that the reason they left it unplugged is that they had an immobiliser emulator on hand.
And in case someone's worried I myself am a thief, I have a 2020str rs to replace it, I just want a track bike I don't care about if it gets trashed.
