Helmets safety rating

Been riding less then a year. Highsided going 40 back in january wearing a sedici strada 2 snell safety rateing. I see people call sedici trash all the time on here because there cheap or chinese made. But my question is regardless of price if the helmet is meeting these safety ratings then who cares on the price? To me a $200 or $600 helmet both with the same safety rating then there equally as safe? Open to differing opinions as im looking for a new helmet get back to riding
