So I should be dead, plain and simple.

Was riding my 2001 Fazer Fz1 on the underside of Cottonwood Pass in Buena Vista, Colorado, beautiful weather wise around 6pm. Took the bike for a quick cruise to help seal the new exhaust wrap I just fitted earlier, so I was riding pretty aggressively about up the pass. Same after I tuned around and began to head back the way I came, about 3 miles later, at the very bottom of the pass, I came up to a curve up over a hill to my left, and about 85% of the way through the curve i came to see a herd of deer. So I'm throttling out of the curve at about 65 mph, then boom, 2 deer are spread in the opposite lane, nearest deer being about 10 or 15 feet in front of me, and one jumps left and away from me, only to double back right in front of me! I literally wasn't even able to complete the word 'shit,' before I hit the bastard dead square in the torso, wrapping it around the frame on the outsides and tearing ligaments in my knee and knocking me almost off the bike. I was literally supermanning off the tail iof the bike, gripped on the handlebars for "Deer," life. Hit the shoulder/gravel and let go sending me flying like a ragdoll through the air, head over heels, hit the ground and rolled/slid about 65 feet.

overall I stopped about 150-200 feet from the deer, bike was 200 feet from me on the ground. 3 witnesses. I'm hurt badly, too. However I did walk away to a ride, moved the bike immediately after slide ended. Suffered Roadrash on my left shoulder, left hips/Ass, as well as on right flank aand shoulder. Really Phucked up my left knee, I'd say that I more than likely have torn any of my MCL, ACL, or PCL due to the pain, swelling, amd deep bruising around my knee.

Have not been to the hospital yet. will post pics of bike in the morning.

Any other encounters with wildlife out there? This sucked ass
