Trying to adjust the aftermarket shock links or put back to stock.

The hole is 1/2”, I plan on lifting the bike from the bottom with a jack, then lowering it so the 3/8 bar is on jack stands supporting the bike on each side.

Wish the hole on the bike was bigger so I could use 1/2” instead. Is a 3/8 strong enough to support this 400lb and some change motorcycle ?
I’ll buy 1/2 to see if it’ll slip in and return if not.
