But now that I've put so much time money and watched so many seemingly unavoidable disasters on reddit...I dont want to ride. I know this sounds stupid. But when I think about all the fucked up outcomes the most prominent is the devastated feeling I'd have if all was for not. Of coarse I don't want to die. That's definatly a thing. But someone has to know what I mean. It was stolen before I could get it insured two years ago. Like 30% is from what's left of that bike after it was recovered. Finding parts, shipping, trying to convince folk in other countrys to ship to the states, locating proprietary tools finding a set of OEM service manuals(even harder was to find four ring binders to cover several hundred pages). Frame up restored. Wasn't gonna put it back together on a damaged frame. Found that one as far from Washington as you can get in the contiguous USA. Hell I still need to get my endorsement! Think I'll just find someone who is as enthusiastic about her and let her go...
