From years it was abandoned in my basement. Now woth some free time I want to start this journey and make it at least turn on to see if I can restore it ad much as I can. I know anything about these things, but I always wanted to learn and I think with it, it can be doable. The pedal to turn the engine on is not blocked, so this gives me hope. A friend of mine told me that I should try to clean the carburetor first and then try to put a bit of fuel to see if it's at least starting. I however want to do things on my own and cant ask for his free time. Some questions is ok but then I'm on my own.
Do you have any good resources and/or advices to help me in this journey? I really know nothing about engines and stuff so my first question will be is the carburetor the grey cylinder in the 2nd picture and all the small parts attached to it?
Im trying to find some videos on youtube but they seems all recent and they are not even similar to mine.
