I know he's talked about retiring, especially after his nasty injury, but I can't help but wonder why Honda doesn't offer Cal a one year contract to prove himself. I mean think about it: he has proven he can ride the bike and win on the bike. As long as he stays on, he's pretty consistently near the front. Surely he deserves at least a rumor about taking the ride! Maybe its his fiery attitude burning that bridge, but I think he deserves a shot. Perhaps more than some others who have tried or are predicted to do so next year.
