Is it time Dorna lent a helping hand to Honda and Yamaha for the good of the sport
Post Body

In 2012 when the new 1000cc formula came in, honda apparently made the best bike according to Casey Stoner, well the best bike he's ever ridden. Then it transpired that a certain manufacturer couldn't meet the minimum weight limit and therefore Dorna changed the rules to make honda and Yamaha to add weight to their bike. The Yamaha was fine but the Honda had chattering like crazy - I believe if it wasn't for that Casey would have gone into retirement as a 3 time world championship.

Then 2016 introduced the standard ECU - this was to slow down HRC and Yamaha propiertory ECU which were far advanced and to give new manufacturers a chance.

Now that we see the effect of aero and the Ducati dominance, surely it's time to reset some of the rules for the good of the show?
