To give you context of my nightmare in law. She was the reason I called off my wedding and married my husband at the courthouse. Whenever I said no to her about something she wanted me to do/ have at my wedding. She would call my husband or his brothers to cry to them about how horrible I was being to her. They would all gang up on me and basically tell me too do as she says. My husband at the time was already stressed about school and money( I was working two jobs and he had 1 year of grad school left). My dad had just recently married and I was really looking forward to getting close with my step mom as she had already been more supportive and sweet in the previous months than my nightmare in law had been the previous 3 years. Racist comments during the holidays and leaving pictures of his ex girlfriend in her house when she'd invite us over for dinner. We are now getting ready to buy our first home. And lo and behold, guess who wants to sell us a house and is demanding to be our real estate agent... for free. I am sure she will only look for houses closer to hers or make her own key to our home without us knowing (she's crazy). Nothing is ever free from that woman.

On top of it, her oldest son is wanting to commit suicide and dumped that on my husband on the same phone call she's demanding to be our agent..yep.

A day before this, my husband's half sister called crying because their dad's Alzheimers is getting worse. It just added to what was already weighing him down.

I don't know what to do about his mother but she truly always makes things worse and my poor husband does not do well under stress... I do plan on saving money so I can take him to therapy once his dad passes. He could potentially lose two family members. I want to be there for him, but it's hard to do that when his mother gets involved and into his head. She has his emotions by the balls. She already ruined our wedding experience, I don't feel like giving up another one. She does have 35yrs behind her in real estate. I just don't trust her. What do I do? Please help me?.. we're on year 8.. but I don't know if I can take another 8 years of her.
