My mother in law arrived from Mexico a month ago. Thus far, she has destroyed our vacuum cleaner attachments because they are unknown to her, two expensive non stick pans because she insists on cooking everything at maximum temperature always so the pans are warped with permanent burn marks, she has punched a hole in our drywall while vigorously mopping the kitchen, you know because she thought all the walls were made from concrete like in Mexico. Now she has destroyed my washing machine because she never had a washing machine in her house and doesn’t understand what any of the buttons say so she loaded two super heavy blankets on one side so the load wasn’t balanced and the drum got knocked off center. BANG! Crash! BOOM! Oh look it stopped now it won’t start again. Awesome! Of course if I even try to complain about the thousands of dollars in damages her insistent ignorance has caused I’m the bad guy and my wife can’t being herself to give her “Supermom” any instruction.
