Been working on a project for quite some time. What if we create our own sneaker stories? A way of building your own sneakers, inspired by your own grails.
An Ode to Egyptian Deities
As you can see this pair is heavily inspired by the Air Max 1 Parra Amsterdam, but I added my own twist.
I started with the Air Max 1 "Burgundy Crush", which I feel is a very underrated pair that is soooo premium.
As an Egyptology "enjoyer", I decided to create my own story for my Sneaker.
Sent them bad boys to a friend that does customs and told him exactly what I needed, that boy delivered (@Jiika_Styles on Instagram)
"Bes was a widely worshipped deity in ancient Egypt and was believed to be the deity of music, merriment, and childbirth. As such, Bes was thought to be a protector of children, and depictions of him were frequently seen in the bedrooms of ancient Egyptian households. His unruly beard, lion’s mask, loud instruments, and wild dancing were all thought to drive away any evil spirits that attempted to infiltrate the house."
So Music, Sexuality, Dancing, all those characteristics made me think of Hedonism, and Amsterdam (Red Light District, Weed Enjoyers, and colorful and Joyful landscape)
So I present you the Air Max 1 Bes, hope you guys like this project.
