An Ode to Egyptian Deities

As you can see this pair is heavily inspired by the Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant, but I added my own twist. The creator (Hirofumi Kojima) said the pair was inspired by "elephants bathing in the water".

I made this pair on Nike ID, and at times they would only propose a "crocodile" type leather for the custom.

As an Egyptology "enjoyer", I decided to create my own story for my Sneaker.

For those who don't know, "Sobek was among the oldest deities named in the Pyramid Texts... Some ancient Egyptian sects believed that Sobek created order in the universe and the world when he arose from the “Dark Water” and that he was the creator of the Nile River. was revered for his ferocity and quick movements"

So that was a match made in heaven. This pair represents Sobek in "predator mode" Biggest differences from the Atmos pair: Dark Grey Toe Box - "Crocodile" type leather - Teal Air Unit

• Crocodile leather between the Teal Swoosh and the Teal Air Unit represents a crocodile swimming (Water above - Water Under)
• The Toe box being "Dark Grey" represents Sobek Shadow "lurking" underwater for his next prey (and I decided to make it leather since it's more premium and winterized than standard mesh)
