Mordheim Dwarven Troll Slayer question

Hello,

Yesterday me and a friend played a game of Mordheim. I've got a Dwarven Troll Slayer with the Monster Slayer skill.

When I hit I had to roll for wound. With my Strength of 3 and her Toughness of 6 I had to roll 6s to wound, but due to the Monster Slayer skill it was 4s to wound.

Critical Hits say that if you need to roll 6s to wound you cannot crit.

I rolled a 6, and a discussion ensued. Normally my Dwarven Troll Slayer would need 6s to wound, thus being unable to crit. His skill turns it into 4s to wound, is he still able to crit though? Because normally he wouldn't be able to.
