Post Body

I preface this with saying that it's nearly 2am and I already struggle with wording things correctly. Please forgive me if I repeat myself or make something sound confusing.

I volunteer at a local bicycle co-op have started to collect the scrap bike parts that are thrown away for land fill. Bicycle chains, wires, tubes, tires, spokes, and more. I plan to make something out of it as I'm a creative, but I keep wanting to try things I see on Etsy or Pinterest, that people have already made.

There is . . . a lot of scrap bikes. I'd think that at some point, the city would've settled and everyone would be good, but somehow there's always a influx. That means the projects will be ever increasing. Piling up. Some stuff I can do as easy as eating popcorn, while I watch a movie. I'd love to be able to sell them.

The dilemma I keep facing is, if there are already patterns or things that are being done for profit already, is it OK to do the same thing for my own personal profit, using their stuff for inspiration?
