I am a fan of spaying and neutering, especially cats. I am aware of the homeless animal problems. This should be a no brainer really. I know what I have to do but why am I struggling so much doing it. I have acquired a 2 year old unspayed female cat.  She got out about a week ago and she was in heat. There is high percentage that she is pregnant.  Know the I should get her spayed before she gets further along. I have very strong beliefs that abortion shouldn't be used as birth control. If mom is at risk or medical issues of the baby then it's up to the parents. I don't really know how to put this. I know what I need to do but why am I having so much hesitation, anxiety and guilt getting my most likely pregnant cat spayed?
