Hey guys,
So I'm buying this "moto"/"moped" from a local Piaggio dealership in the city I live in.
It's a 50cc engine with gears, and as you can see it's also open-engine. The dealer told me some things which I'm having trouble believing, so I wanted to see if you experts could tell me whether or not it's true:
Fuel consumption is about 0.2MAD/km, or 2 cents per kilometer in fuel consumption.
This particular model (because it has gears) can go up slopes (think driving up a mountain road to get to a neighboring village) because it has gears, and if you put it in first gear and go slowly there is no risk to blowing out the motor.
Most importantly, the dealer assured me I could go long distances (up to 250km or more) on the bike without having to stop. He said that this is because the motor is cooled by air, and there is no radiator, and therefore no need to stop. I do plan on taking my bike longish distance, and I want to know if it's true or if he's just lying.
Thank you all for your time!
