I really need someone to help me understand why this is so expensive. I’d love to have an honest, genuine, non-toxic discussion.
Other provinces to my knowledge don’t pay a yearly registration fee, noting Ontario recently fully canceled this in 2021. On top of that, I have to pay $89 for transport en commun even though I don’t use it because I have a car?
$66 for insurance contribution, but what the heck is that? I already pay the mandatory car insurance ($114 a month).
And then a further slap in the face is $10 on taxes and admin fees? 😂
Does this not get anyone else confused? I’m curious why more people aren’t complaining about these ridiculous fees, on top of school taxes and property taxes? It’s like they genuinely don’t want you to thrive here.
