I've been trying to solo Raging Brachy for a week or two now and having barely any luck. I can barely dodge any of his attacks half the time, and when I do I'm almost never in position to counter attack. I've tried him with lance, SA, IG, and bow. I've maxed out a Safi Shatteraxe but I'm barely getting any of the alleged trips that he's supposed to be vulnerable to. And when I do manage to knock him down I can't do anything because my first hit knocks the slime off him so I have to back up. I've managed to get him to the first volcano area but it takes two carts to do it and I can't manage to survive any longer.

I am so fucking aggravated by this fight. I see these videos of people dancing around his attacks and getting these 6 minute clears and barely taking a scratch. I only managed to beat him once with an SOS and three guys with sticky ammo showed up and destroyed him so hard I wasn't even sure what was going on. It just feels cheap to count that as a win since I'm pretty sure they didn't actually need me to be there, so I'm trying to beat him "the right way" before I craft any of his gear.

I may just have to grind the hell out of GL until I can get a healing augment on an R10 lance.
