Hello mokaficianados. I have a bialetti moka pot ice used for a while now, and I decided to try out the E&B filters. I think I have a 1 cup pot (90% sure I picked the one cup just to try it out). I ordered a 1 cup and 3 cup E&B filter (was considering getting a 3 or 4 cup in the future).
Well, interestingly enough, the 3 cup filter fits my pot, and the 1 cup filter is much too small. I started looking closely at my moka pot, and it's not a bialetti moka express, it's labeled "Moka Cafè".
Am I nuts or have I had a 3 cup this whole time? I don't think it's a fake, I bought it from target. I'm seeing online they used to make a pot called the Bialetti Break which has a round top instead of octagonal, but I can't find much info on it.
I'm curious if any moka scholars know what the deal is, is my memory just bad, or if I really have a 1 cup pot that takes a size 3 filter.
