So I’m fairly new and started with Plaits and wanna add another sound source to compliment it and give some more flavors in the rack (and who doesn’t love buying gear in general lol) …I’m more interested in somewhat ‘complex’ oscillators when it comes to modular ,so not looking towards an analog…Bastl pizza , 4ms ensemble caught my ear and attention. Any other suggestions I should know about that would be a nice plaits compliment ? Thanks 🙏 in advance !
That’s great advice , I’ll definitely set that up in modular grid ….I have a maths , a clap Diaz , a filter/vca module from behringer , and a dual envelope from Bgr… Thanks again .👍🏻
You definitely helped me have an ‘a/ha’ moment lol ..it’s amazing how many modulation options one has in this modular world !!…thanks buddy 👍🏻.
Okay , I think I’m starting to get it . So I’d take the trigger outs from , say ,my oxy one (or something like a steppy) and the traffic module will output all kinds of variations that’ll ’do stuff’ lol , to the sound source’s….is that basically the ‘gist’ of it lol ? Thanks 🙏 so much for your input, it’s extremely helpful actually , I appreciate your time !👍🏻
What about pin the tail on the module ?😂
I do indeed have maths 👍🏻 (and been learning it ) for effects I’ve been using my fx pedals I use with my ‘non modular’ synths , strymons , Eventide etc.
Dude AWESOME , great suggestions and thank you so much !! Gonna investigate the rubicon , looks like a lovely piece of kit !
Definitely starting to understand the ‘magic’ happens in the modulation modules which are definitely in a whole nother league compared to your standard lfo’s and envelopes you’ll find in a ‘standard’ hardware synth….but just curious you’ll feeling rubicon 2 over pizza ?
From watching the videos I’m a bit confused lol….do you need something like a steppy to actually ‘trigger’ traffic and/or water ?
Someone mentioned those to me actually…they’re CV generators ? Trigger sequencer , something like that lol ? They make one called water too , if I’m not mistaken .
I heard about that module….looks and sounds beautiful…may be a bit ‘much’ for my skill level atm though lol .
So a 4 channel modulator like zadar or batumi (that zadar looks dope…everyone’s out of it ) and a matrix mixer to combine modulators (sound rad) I’ll go research sequential switches lol ….love the wave folding idea ….maybe a gate sequencer ? Thanks again brotha , you’re extremely helpful and awesome 🙏👍🏻.

Great advice , and yes I ordered a Pam’s pro workout ..and was absolutely looking at a second filter ..I also ordered a deopfer quad vca off reverb (cause I figured I was gonna need more VCA’’s and one came up at a great price .) any specific Modulator and/or utility modules I should consider at this point & junction ? Thanks so much for your help I really appreciate it 👍🏻.
