Is dropbox safe? What sites do you receive banner images files from securely to protect your identity and computer?

Hey there—im not very tech savy and a member from my sub offered to improve the banner artwork. What they came up with is very nice.

They want to send me the banner art files on dropbox.

Will I be vulnerable to 1) revealing my identity and 2) getting viruses, malware, spyware etc from this random person if I click the dropbox link and copy the files from dropbox to my computer or ipad?

Is there any way to upload the banner art files directly to reddit from dropbox without them ever entering my computer?

(Sorry if this question is idiotic, im not a super tech savy mod)
