Inactive mods below me (top mod)- Will this effect anything if they are not removed?

bear with me lol... let's say a few subreddits that I am the top mod for, have inactive moderators below me, and reasons X, Y & Z... I don't want to remove some moderators reddit has listed as "inactive".

Is this okay? Can this affect the subreddit in any way if they are left on the mod team? The subreddits in question are larger communities that are very active with members posting and commenting regularly.

I don't WANT to remove these moderators but I also don't want to lose these subreddits due to reddit thinking it's unmoderated or if that violates mod COC or something. Thanks in advanceee!!
