I know this has been posted before, but I really want to bring attention to the fact that infinity ward could make this game mode so much better by just adding a ranked mode. The tournament feature brought a new competitive feel to the gunfight experience which I'm sure many appreciated (and which ranked would build upon), but as it stands, the tournament rewards are only really good the first time around, and the novelty of winning fades after a few victories. Ranked would add an actual reason for people to continuously play gunfight and give players something to work towards other than some measly xp reward which would be much more easily earned in something like Shoot the Ship.

Gunfight by itself is a great playlist, but after a few losses, players lose interest, and seeing as they have nothing to work towards, rightly so.

TL;DR: Ranked mode would give players a reason to play gunfight, and something to work towards, instead of just playing a few games, getting bored of losing, and seeing no reason to continue.
