Unpopular opinion but I fairly enjoy spec ops but IW have somehow managed to make it absolutely impossible to complete most of the missions.

I’ve played with friends and randoms and it’s ruined by:

A) An infinite amount of enemies to where it feels like 4 people are taking on the population of China. Fuck knows where the enemy trained firearms but their inability to miss shots from 3/4 of a mile away through bushes, smoke even concrete is tremendous. Trying to do some of the missions is completely laughable like the quarry and the bank. You can’t clear and defend an area because they just pile in. It’s a complete shit show how they spawn...infinitely.

B) The Juggernauts. I get making them hard to defeat as that’s the point but is it absolutely necessary to have 8 on some missions? Not only are you fighting off mainland China, you now have one, often two and sometimes three bullet sponges equipped with miniguns.

C) Ammo. Having to equip ammo boxes so you can’t actually use anything useful like air strikes because you honestly need so much ammunition. Leave ammo crates all over the map that don’t take up inventory and let us play with the fun stuff.

Those are my biggest three gripes about it and if they take care of those l, I think this game mode would be much more appealing to many.

It’s great being able to play PVE with friends and the mission length is great but at least make it playable and enjoyable. MW2 had a great coop spec ops that made it feel rewarding with achieving stars and with the juggernauts, made them feel intimidating but beatable.

These rants I imagine fall on deaf ears up at the top but I hope they fix this part so it becomes enjoyable as it’s a welcome break from the campers in multiplayer.

Oh and we need a HC Ground War.
