Fair point and I wasn't necessarily sure whether you meant it that way, so I tried to approach my comment with the possibility that you didn't mean it that way.
I was just certain that as soon as I entered the thread, one of the top few comments was going to be about Biden's (terrible) statement (or maybe Hillary's deplorables comment).
Which I think is evidence of your point....Biden got eviscerated for that (and still does) while Trump doesn't even take any real flak for it.
Edit: If you have the opinion enough to downvote, then have the spine to comment too. I'm just speaking facts here, so bring it.
Ranked choice voting is what makes 3rd parties viable.
I see that you said you don't think it'll change much, but voting for them in a FPTP system changes nothing.
FPTP winner take all systems inevitably prevent third parties from being viable, the two major parties can shift, but the equilibrium always winds up with only two viable options.
If you have another alternative besides ranked choice voting or wasting your vote in FPTP, I'm all ears.

At this point, bringing up this one instance of Biden saying something really bad just feels like whataboutism, even if that isn't what is intended.
I thought it was fair the first few times, but now we're on dozens of instances of Trump doing shit like this and it feels a bit like trying to say they're the same when that's really not the case.
