It sounded like this was a Dem party point you were making, but I respect that you're just targeting her.
I don't give a fuck about AOC personally. She's not my kind of politician, I'm not progressive, she's not from my area.
I do care about logic and facts though and you're still dragging her without a basis for doing so beyond conjecture.
You think she should've known because she has a working relationship with the other Rep, but that's not good enough to be making the attacks on her that you're making.
First off...you have not established that she should have known about this, you're just making conjecture.
Second...if you want to discuss which party does a better job of policing their own, you're picking a really bad fight. I'm not about to make the Democrats out to be saints, because they're not....but the GOP is absolutely worse.
Hell, the voting base of the GOP has repeatedly said that if Trump gets convicted of serious crimes, like insurrection, they'll still vote for him to be president. You want to talk about caring about corruption?

That's still not explaining why you felt the need to drag AOC down just because she's affiliated.
If we find out later that she should've known...then sure, go for it. But this just broke and doesn't say anything about AOC knowing.
Was she supposed to just know about her colleague/friend's (idk which) illegal activities automatically?
I wouldn't know if my best friend was embezzling from his employer and he's my best friend! I definitely don't know enough about my colleagues for anyone to put that on me.
